CHAS Accreditation achieved as we reopen for business.

As we return back to work after having to close the business and furlough our staff throughout most of March, April & May, we are pleased to confirm that we have achieved the CHAS standard for Health & Safety (Contractors’ Health and Safety Assessment Scheme).

To confirm what this means to us, CHAS has introduced a new Common Assessment Standard that makes it easier for clients to determine compliance across their entire supply chain. As a Contractor we must provide one set of information on an annual basis to gain re-accreditation, answering standardised questions based on existing good practice and areas covered under PAS91. There are 12 modules available from Health and Safety, Financial and Business Standing to Equal Opportunities and Diversity, Environmental and Quality Management.

So that's that job done for a year, now for getting back to business as usual as we start to deal with customer enquiries and creating a new work schedule for the next 3 months. We are very happy to be getting back to our new normal!
