Repairs to water damaged Cornice and Lath/Plaster ceiling

We have just completed a cornice repair job at a Grade II listed L18C early 19th Cottage, where water ingress had caused the period cornice to 'blow' and had also caused damage to the lath & plaster ceiling. Our craftsman took a template of the cornice, recreated the same design, manufactured a length of the 'bespoke' cornice and set about 'making good' the unsightly area. Our photos show each step of the process, with the finished result looking good and all ready for redecoration. Patch repairs are very common in period properties, this area will now last as long as the house itself.
