Ryedale Plasterers is a family-run business established in 1982, with a long-standing reputation for quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Over the years, we have become recognised specialists in the restoration and conservation of original plaster features. Our work has taken us across the UK, from Scotland to Kent, although the majority of our projects are carried out within a 75-mile radius of DL6 2NB.
We provide a wide range of specialist services covering all aspects of traditional lime plasterwork and decorative moulding. Our work includes internal and external lime plastering and rendering, ornate plaster and cornice restoration, plasterware manufacture, on-site mould-making, and the creation of bespoke decorative features such as logos, crests, coats of arms, and other architectural embellishments.
Operations Director Jack Atkinson leads our team of skilled craftsmen, having begun his career with Ryedale as an apprentice many years ago. Jack took over the running of the business from former Managing Director Catherine Windross following her retirement in April 2023. Our team combines decades of experience with specialist craft skills, including historic restoration, ornamental and fibrous plastering, modelling, sculpting, and design.
